Artisan Bread is delivered to our London stockists in vans running on biodiesel, at times which do not contribute to road congestion.
Our long-term goal is to encourage farmers to grow Biodynamic grains locally and to establish local production.
Invoices and statements are sent electronically or printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper, using both sides of the paper, we reuse envelopes where possible.
Our faxes are sent and received electronically, and only printed when necessary.
Our cleaning materials are biodegradable and/or have a low environmental impact.
We reuse and recycle as much as possible rather than landfill, and participate in the local business recycling scheme.
Our bakery, ovens and office are powered using Good Energy, electricity from 100% renewable sources. Good Energy customers can report carbon emissions from their electricity supply as zero – this has the potential to dramatically lower our customer’s carbon footprints.
