Good news: Rye-style is back. Those ingredients have finally arrived!
Bad news: No Sourdough Style or Toastie as now white rice and other ingredients are held up due to complicated Brexit formalities. Please buy buckwheat and quinoa products - we have plenty of those grains. Please refrain from emailing us asking when it will be here as we have no idea.

Please celebrate that this is artisan food – slowly made by artisans from the best nature provides. Think of it like single estate wine or single estate olive oil – each batch will be slightly different and celebrated for its difference!
Our bread won’t be the same every time you taste it - celebrate the artisan nature!
Not many bakers go to as much trouble as we do – we mill our flour fresh each day and use macro ingredients that you would otherwise find in food supplements, like calcium and seaweed! We don’t use enzymes to make bread last unnaturally long and we don’t use gums or additives. Each batch of grains will be slightly different. This is not mass produced food made from blended ingredients - this is real food!
If your bread has gone stale you can use it in cooking – it makes a great binder or even bread dumplings – the possibility is endless. You can steam it without it falling apart.
However – if it goes mouldy - throw it away. Just cutting off the mouldy bit will not do as moulds grow long tentacles and all parts of the bread may be affected – not just the mould you can see on the surface.
But take a close look – sometimes people mistake a little clump of calcium and seaweed as mould. We do our best to mix this in well but sometimes a bit gets trapped in an air bubble in the dough and it forms a small whitish blob. To test wipe over it with your finger - moulds will flatten and become almost invisible whereas the seaweed/calcium will remain intact.
